Fire and Ice Chili Cookoff - President's Day Weekend

Combine a chili cookoff with ice sculptures and you have an unlikely combination for the 6th Annual Fire and Ice Cookoff in Downtown Blue Ridge on February 13th 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. $10 to taste the chili. Sponsored by the Blue Ridge Business Association.

Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Assn. celebrates their annual anniversary with fun in Downtown Blue Ridge Park. Lots of fun things for kids to do.

Pickin' in Horseshoe Bend Park - Thursdays, May thru September
Horseshoe Bend Park in McCaysville
Casual jam sessions for acoustic musicians are held under the trees and pavillions along the Toccoa River at Ron Henry Horseshoe Bend Park every Thursday evening from 6 p.m. til dusk beginning Memorial Day through the end of September. Free admission to musicians of all levels and listeners who appreciate good music. Bring your picnic supper and enjoy the music!

Kiwanis Fairgrounds in Blue Ridge
Western rodeo with bull riding, saddle bronc riding, calf roping, bareback, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing and special events. Great food and fun for all ages.

Labor Day Barbeque

Ride the Rails Festival - September
Mineral Bluff Depot,
A two and one half mile round trip ride by railroad motor car traveling through the Iron Bridge over the beautiful Toccoa River, then returning over the bridge to the Historic Mineral Bluff Depot. Model railroad display, food vendors and more.

Blue Ridge Blues & Barbeque Festival - September

Blues Crawl and Blues Train (Rotary) Friday night, followed by great blues and barbeque Saturday. Sponsored by the Blue Ridge Lodging Assn.
