Overview
The annual Old Timers' Parade started in the 1950's and is a time for visitors and locals alike to come together and celebrate the 4th of July!
Bring your antique vehicles, dress in period attire or not, it's up to you!
Very excited to announce a special Sensory Sensitive Block. This section of the parade route offers a quieter, less stimulating environment for individuals with sensory sensitivities and their families. (Around 980 E. Main Street, downtown Blue Ridge.)
What You Can Expect:
-Enjoy the parade without loud music and sirens, lowered volume to create a more pleasurable experience.
-This area is also designated to be less crowded, providing ample space for everyone to move around freely and comfortably.
-The parade will move at a slower pace through this section, making it easier for everyone to enjoy the sights without feeling rushed.
