Overview
The Folk invites everyone for a summer evening of food, fire, and folklore. Around the circle you will discuss some of the roots of Appalachian folklore and nature's influence. Participants will dine on campfire fare of hotdogs, and the fixings, homemade soup or chili, and finish off with s'mores as folk tales are told simply to help keep a bit of our mountain culture alive.
This event will be outside, so no fancy shoes or clothes. Reservations are required. Not recommended for small children due to potentially frightening stories.
