Don't miss all the 4th of July festivities happening in the twin cities of McCaysville, GA and Copperhill, TN on Saturday for America's 250th birthday!

The Annual Fishing Rodeo begins at 8 AM at Toccoa River Park.
Children and families are invited to enjoy a morning of fishing along the beautiful Toccoa River.
A free hot dog lunch will be provided for participants and guests.
Prizes and giveaway items will also be awarded throughout the event.
Independence Day Freedom Parade starts at 12 PM.
This year’s parade theme is “The United States of America Flag." Decorate your floats, vehicles, bicycles, old cars, tractors and entries in red, white, and blue as we celebrate America’s 250th Birthday and honor the symbol that unites us all. No registration is required. Everyone is welcome to participate!
Parade line-up location: East Tennessee Avenue at the City Park, line-up time: 11:00 AM, parade begins at 12:00 PM.
Independence Day Classic Car Show from 10 AM-3 PM
Sponsored by the City of McCaysville Police Department, located at People’s Bank of East Tennessee on Blue Ridge Drive.
Enjoy an impressive display of classic cars, hot rods, muscle cars, trucks, and specialty vehicles from across the region.
15 trophies will be awarded in 15 different categories!
Whether you’re a car enthusiast or simply enjoy beautiful vehicles, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
Twin Cities Farmers Market from 8 AM-2PM
Located on the Historic Steel Bridge, shop local vendors offering fresh produce, homemade goods, crafts, baked treats, and unique merchandise while enjoying the charm of our historic downtown.
The Great American Rodeo on the River Finale starts at 8 PM
Head over to the Copperhill Ball Field West Tennessee Avenue for another exciting evening of rodeo action as competitors return to the arena for the rodeo finale and championship events.

• FREE parking is available in designated public parking areas throughout downtown.
• Temporary road closures and traffic delays may occur during parade activities and special events.
• Please observe all posted parking signs and directions from event staff and law enforcement officers.
• Help keep our community clean by utilizing designated trash receptacles.
• Be respectful of volunteers, city staff, first responders, and fellow attendees as we work together to make this celebration safe and enjoyable for everyone.
