Overview
Welcome to Skeenah Campground and Mill
A Campground with history -
A Historic Mill
Skeenah Creek Campground was built on the site of a Historic Mill and farmhouse from 1838. It served the community as a grist and lumber mill. It stands today showing its age, but still has a working water wheel and scenic waterfall flowing next to it. The Mill has been featured in several books and guides.
Skeenah Campground is located in the Northeast Georgia mountains in the Chattahoochee National Forest, the foothills of the Appalachian mountains and is open year round! With 35 Full Hookup RV Campsites, Large area for Tent Camping, and Bathhouse.
Just a few miles from the Toccoa River launch site and areas for tubing, kayaking and canoeing are abundant. Trout fishing is available at the campground and just down the road is Rock Creek, famous for some of the best trout fishing in Georgia!
