Overview
Serving Survivors since 1986
Since 1986, The North Georgia Mountain Crisis Network, Inc. has been serving survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault throughout Fannin, Gilmer, and Pickens Counties. We offer an environment of encouragement, compassion, support, and safe shelter. Funding provided ensures our organization the ability to staff an eleven bed confidential shelter, operate a 24/7 crisis hotline, and provide advocacy, outreach services, education, and training.
Throughout our service area, the NGMCN has partnered with community agencies, churches, schools, civic groups, and individuals to assist men, women, and children in need of shelter, safety, and support. Building on three decades of sexual assault advocacy, legal advocacy, safe house residency, and community outreach & education, we move forward with the continued belief that love shouldn’t hurt.
