Discover Inola in Blue Ridge
Set right outside of downtown Blue Ridge, a visit to Inola is like walking back in time to the early founding period in America. A colonial style village built in the 1980s, the property modeled after Colonial Williamsburg is made up of replicas of historic buildings, including a post office and shops.
The Hopewell Chapel a favorite for weddings is a replica of one from Hopewell, Virginia, with a bell tower modeled after the Burton Chapel. It features two original 1850s brass bells, each weighing over 150 pounds, and hand-blown glass windows.
The Wythe House Mansion is a replica of the Colonial Williamsburg home with a colonial facade but a modern interior. The Wetherburn’s Tavern, a replica of a Williamsburg tavern, resembles the type of community pub where early Americans would have gathered. But there’s more to Inola than history.
