Morganton Point is the only developed campground on Lake Blue Ridge. It's a great spot for camping, fishing, swimming and boating. The campground opens in April and closes at the end of October. Dates may vary due to weather and water levels. There are 43 camp sites available, 16 of which are lakefront and two group sites. Each site has a ground mounted cooking grill, picnic table, lantern pole and tent pad. Bathrooms, one of which has hot showers. City water is available.

The picnic area has eight tables, and the covered picnic shelter is available by reservation. Morganton Point Swimming Area is a pebble beach, so be sure to bring some water shoes. There is a paved boat ramp 1/4 mile west of the campground and beach. Boat trailer parking is available in picnic area.
