An example of why an individual/business could receive an award:
Lit'l Pond Hospitality has made significant contributions to the community over the years. They have been a driving force for the restaurant scene in Blue Ridge, having started over seven incredible restaurants. During the downtown Blue Ridge fire in Nov. 2023, they opened their doors to first responders and provided shelter and food. They were an integral part of making sure the affected businesses were supported.
