Class Description:
Dive into the heart of Scandinavian flavors as you learn to craft authentic Swedish-style cheese dumplings, perfectly paired with a rich red wine roasted tomato sauce. For dessert, master the art of Kladdkaka, Sweden’s beloved fudgy chocolate cake topped with a light, crisp meringue. Under the guidance of our expert chef, you’ll create these iconic dishes from scratch, capturing the essence of Sweden’s rustic yet refined culinary traditions. Bring home recipes that will warm your kitchen and delight your table time and time again!
What to Expect:
You will work in pairs sharing a workstation and some equipment in a fun, hands-on environment led by our Le Cordon Bleu Paris trained Chef. Each class includes 3-hours of professional cooking/baking instructions, basic kitchen safety, ingredients, take-home recipe cards, and a complimentary glass of wine.
What am I taking home?
Since this is a Friday Night Dinner Class, we will be eating the fruits of our labors fresh from the oven, but you will be leaving with your leftovers, your recipe cards, and a smile!
Dress Code:
Please wear comfortable, close-toed shoes (chairs are provided but there will be a lot of standing).
Please avoid flowy clothing and tie back any long hair.
* Participants are responsible for managing their own food allergies; L'Atelier recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy, please contact us before attending the class. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class, and we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
