Experience the charm of North Georgia’s apple country as we celebrate this year’s theme:

From Tree to Table — Honoring Georgia’s Apple Growers.

Hosted by the Georgia Foundation for Agriculture, Picnic on the Farm is a pop-up picnic series that explores a different region of the state each year, connecting guests to Georgia’s diverse agricultural heritage. This year’s event takes place at the iconic Mercier Orchards, where guests will enjoy a relaxing afternoon filled with orchard tours, u-pick apples, wine and cider tastings, live music, plein air art, and family-friendly activities. General admission guests receive a picnic basket filled with locally sourced food and a blanket to claim their perfect picnic spot. VIP guests and sponsors will be escorted to a curated picnic area with pre-set seating and orchard views. From the fresh mountain air to the first bite of a crisp Georgia apple, it’s an unforgettable celebration of agriculture, community, and connection.
