Overview

The Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association’s 2025 Photography National Juried Show shines a spotlight on the art of photography in all its forms—from the breathtaking stillness of nature to the conceptual edge of digital manipulation.

This national competition brings together both emerging and seasoned photographers from across the country, celebrating a diverse array of visual perspectives and storytelling through the lens. With $3,000 in cash prizes, including $750 for Best in Show, this exhibit offers not only national prestige but also a rich showcase of artistic talent in photographic media.

Juried by award-winning photographer and director Chris Hefferen, whose cinematic eye and broad experience in commercial and fine art photography bring a distinctive edge to this year’s selection, the exhibition promises to be a compelling and expertly curated experience.
