Artist in Residence: Micah Goguen's exhibit "Bold Art. Human Stories."

August 30th through December 21st at The Art Center.

Micah Goguen, originally from Central Georgia, holds both a B.A. in Art and Art History and a Master’s in Art Therapy from Georgia College & State University. Now based in Macon, he brings a wealth of experience as an artist, teacher, and art therapist whose work merges vibrant artistic expression with purpose and healing.

As a mixed-media portrait artist, Micah works across various materials - oil, acrylic, ceramics, textiles and more - to create layered, organic, and confrontational compositions that invite reflection and human connection. His bold color palettes and emotionally rich subjects are designed to engage and speak directly with the viewer.

Artist Opening Reception on August 30th, 5:00 pm-7:00 pm

Exhibit runs through December 21st. Open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Closed on Mondays.
