A Drop By Meet & Greet with our New Large Animal Veterinarian
June 12, 2025 from 4:00-6:00 pm
Will be held at The FCSS Agriculture Facility 43 Station Ridge Blue Ridge
Dr. Molly Wright is originally from Talking Rock, Georgia. She began her academic journey at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) in South Georgia, where she earned an associate’s degree in science. She then went on to complete her bachelor’s degree in animal science at the University of Georgia. Dr. Wright had always dreamed of studying abroad and Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine gave her the incredible opportunity to live on an island while pursuing her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.
Being raised on a farm instilled in her a strong foundation in animal care and a deep appreciation for the agricultural lifestyle from an early age. During Dr. Wright’s undergraduate studies, she began working in veterinary clinics and after riding along with an ambulatory veterinarian she felt a clear calling to pursue veterinary medicine.
During veterinary school, Dr. Wright had the opportunity to work closely with a variety of farm animals in both clinical and field settings. Her time abroad exposed her to a wide range of farming practices and approaches to animal care which expanded her perspective and enriched her understanding and appreciation of global agricultural practices. These experiences have strengthened Dr. Wright’s passion for large animal medicine continues to shape the way she approaches patient care in rural and production settings through ambulatory medicine.
Everyone is welcome to attend and refreshments will be served.
