March 11 – Return of the Scenic Railway
The regular 4 hour, 26 mile round trip winds along the beautiful Toccoa River in vintage climate controlled or open air railcars. The relaxing ride starts at the historic depot, built in 1905 in downtown Blue Ridge, then stops for a layover in the quaint sister towns of McCaysville, GA and Copperhill, TN where visitors have a two hour layover; plenty of time to eat lunch, shop for unique crafts and antiques, snack on ice cream or explore.

March 18 – St. Patty's Day Fun
A huge amount of fun with our local Irish luminaries, antique cars, music and more. March around town and join the fun or just take a seat at one of the many viewing spots along the parade route. NOON on March 18th. Parade route TBA. Parade sponsored by The Boro Inn Irish Pub. When you get to town you'll find specials and parties at many of our local restaurants and taverns, plus special events at our two local craft breweries!

March 24-April 2 – Wine Highway Week
Wine lovers will love early spring in the north Georgia mountains as our viticulture scene blossoms with events and tastings. For 9 days at the end of March, 21 wineries unite, each providing different types music and or light fare. Tour during the day and then plan a night around a wine gala or local wine bar art event. Book a luxury cabin in Blue Ridge as your base camp and set out on a vineyard adventure!
