Scenic Driving Tours in the Mountains We've put together some great, free self-guided driving tours that let you explore Georgia's Blue Ridge from your car. Download them here:

Approximate Mileage: 65 miles Follow Interstate 575 from Atlanta northward on the Georgia Mountain Parkway, which includes the towns of Jasper, Ellijay, Blue Ridge, Blairsville, Young Harris and Hiawassee. Along the way this scenic route offers beautiful mountain views, wildflowers, apple orchards, festivals, antiques and galleries -- and a wealth of opportunities for outdoor exploration and adventure. Southern Highroads Trail Approximate Mileage: 360 miles Website:www.southernhighroads.org Experience the scenic beauty, diversity and rich history found on this trail, which is a loop drive through the mountains of Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina. The entire trail takes about three days to complete. The trail includes the Georgia cities of Blue Ridge, Ellijay, Chatsworth, Blairsville, Young Harris, Hiawassee, Clayton, Dillard and Mountain City.
Self-guided driving tours through Fannin County and the Copper Basin are available at the Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center in Blue Ridge. The tours vary from 1.5 hours to 5 hours and include drives through the mountains and countryside, the deep forest and the wilderness. Self Guided Tours |
