Kiwanis Rodeo

Big News!

Blue Ridge Kiwanis Club’s 24th Annual Rodeo will be 3 nights of rodeo action starting at 8pm on August 20, 21 and 22. Gates open at 6 pm.
Bronco riding, calf roping, calf scrambles, bull riding, bareback riding, team roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing, ladies breakaway roping and more! All proceeds benefit the Blue Ridge Kiwanis Club which supports local charities such as Empty Stocking, The Fannin Chapter of Boys and Girls Club of America, and Feed Fannin.

Due to COVID19, we were forced to make changes in order to have a rodeo. As you know, our club raises funds to financially support many local charities. Without a profitable rodeo, those charities will suffer. Due to current Governor’s guidelines, we must limit our seating capacity. 800 people will be our maximum capacity each night. This will limit our potential income. We are adding Thursday night of rodeo action to help eliminate overcrowding as much as possible and provide opportunities for social distancing.

Because of the capacity guidelines, we must make significant ticket price changes. Adult ticket cost will be $15, children aged 8 and under will be $5, and children aged 3 and under will be free. 800 people will be our maximum capacity each night. Our tickets will be sold online in advance at blueridgerodeo.com beginning July 31. Pre-ordered tickets guarantee admittance. Pre-ordered tickets for Thursday night only will be $12 per adult.
These changes were not made easily. However, they were necessary in order to hold our annual rodeo. If regulations change, our ticket prices will be adjusted accordingly. Tickets will need to be Date-Specific to allow for proper allocation. We need your support and understanding more than ever to have a safe and successful rodeo.

More important information will follow in the days to come. Get ready to saddle up!
