Ocoee Whitewater Center - Hiking, biking and family picnic spot with lots to do. 423-496-5197

Rich Mountain Wilderness - pristine mountain area with waterfalls, hikes and biking trails. Get a USFS map.

Cohutta & Big Frog Wilderness - vast wilderness area for the advanced hiker. Blue Ridge Mountain Outfitters has maps and great hiking gear of all kinds.

Fall Branch Falls - easy half mile hike to a nice shady waterfall.

The Appalachian Trail - the famous footpath starts right here in Fannin County.

Benton MacKaye Trail - varied hiking trail, lots of access points.
